Full-Featured Integrated Amps from NAD

NAD has released three new integrated amplifiers that include a wide range of technologies and provide best-in-class performance and value at a range of power and price points. All include a high performance built-in DAC, Bluetooth connectivity for wireless streaming, and a quality MM phono stage, with power output ranging between 50 and 150 watts per channel depending on model.

These are extremely versatile, great-sounding components that will be ideal for many music lovers. On display now, so stop in for a listen. More here.

New Tablette 10 from ProAc

The new ProAc Tablette 10 is the tenth generation in the Tablette series originally launched in 1979. The 10 is an all new design, using a thin-walled, heavily damped infinite baffle (sealed) enclosure similar to the original BBC LS3/5a and Linn Kan speakers. This design allows the Tablette 10 to be positioned against the wall, unlike a ported enclosure.

The new Tablette 10 has cutting edge new drive units and a carefully tuned crossover that combined deliver a surprisingly rich bass and an extremely transparent midrange. We're very impressed by this new ProAc model, and recommend it highly for situations where you'd like a small speaker that can actually go in a bookcase and still deliver beautiful sound.

On demonstration now, at $1900 a pair. Read more here.

Audio Research / Sonus faber Open House!
Wednesday, October 26th, 5 - 8 p.m.

Please join us for an entertaining evening listening to Audio Research's latest electronics, the Foundation series, paired with the new Sonus faber Il Cremonese speakers. Trent Suggs from Audio Research and Allan Haggar from Sonus faber will present these products and answer any questions. Refreshments will be served. Feel free to stop by any time during our open house, running from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. RSVPs are appreciated but not required. Hope to see you then!

Audio Research's new Foundation series is forged by the same engineering and design team responsible for the award-winning Reference Series. Models include the LS28 line stage preamp, PH9 phono stage, DAC9 digital to analog converter, and VT80 power amp. All feature fully balanced circuit designs and a clever menu system for configuration, checking tube hours, and more.

Italian speaker maker Sonus faber is justifiably famous for their stunning designs and use of beautiful and luxurious materials. Their newest model, the Il Cremonese, pays homage to that history but takes a bold and innovative step forward in delivering a musical presentation that is more neutral and insightful than any model prior, clearly putting Sonus faber into the ranks of state of the art speaker builders. Il Cremonese is characterized by an innovative cabinet with five sides, a ìRhomboidal diamond designî which optimizes structural solidity. The triple layer cabinet walls are highly braced and damped to get rid of unwanted energy, and all of the drivers, including the two subwoofer units located in their own internal enclosure, are designed in-house. Il Cremonese is a remarkable achievement, a total delight both visually and musically.

We'll also have a Sonus faber Olympica five channel speaker setup in our McIntosh home theater system, paired with the wonderful Sony VW665ES 4K projector. Lots to see and hear- mark your calendar and stop by!

Sony 4K Video Now on Demonstration

We've historically chosen not to offer video products as nothing as stood out from the crowd for some time, but times have changed. Now on display- state of the art video displays from Sony!

We have on display the XBR 850D series flatscreen TVs that start at just $1399, and include 55", 65", 75", and 85" screen sizes, and the higher performance XBR 930D/940D series starting at $1699 with 55", 65", and 75" screen sizes. The new top end Z9D series is coming soon.

In our McIntosh home theater room we have the VW665ES 4K HDR projector ($14,999) set up with a Da-lite Paralax screen. The combination delivers a remarkably life-like picture, even with ambient light in the room, and has deeper blacks and more realistic colors than anything we've seen outside of a top quality movie theater.

If you're interested in a very natural picture with 4K resolution and industry-leading dynamic range and color balance, stop by and see the latest Sony products. You'll see why we've changed our mind about video, and are excited to recommend them.
