Although signal cables and power cords and conditioners are a much-debated item in the audio world, we've found that they do indeed make a difference in how a system performs. Speaker cables are really mis-named, as you should match your speaker cable more to the kind of amplifier you have rather than the speakers. You should also consider using the same manufacturer's wire products consistently throughout your system for the best result. We're happy to make a cable recommendation for your system- just ask.

Headphones can be a great way to enjoy your music. Grado models start at just $49 with the new iGrado, and include the extremely popular SR60, SR80 and SR125 models. The new PSB M4U2 headpones are also an interesting option, able to operate in normal passive mode, active (powered) mode for use with small iPods and such, and also in noise canceling mode. It's best to try a few models on and see not only what sounds best but also what's comfortable.

For those looking for furniture to actually enhance the peformance of their system, we highly recommend the Quadraspire Evo and Sunoku Vent stands, which are very modern and highly functional. If you're after a very flexible and attractive cabinet solution to hide all of your equipment or support a large television, Salamander products can't be beat, and they also offer very nice home theater seating.

Keeping your system safe from the noisy and variable electric supply in your home can also improve the sound (and picture) quality, if you use a Shunyata Hydra power distribution product. Shuyata's range of power cords can also be a nice improvement.
